Projects and construction of metro lines C and B. The first strikes of subway cars in May 1974 announced to the world that Prague is another world metropolis with modern underground transport. In the following years the construction of the metro continued. From the center itself, it gradually expanded to the outermost areas of the capital and two more lines were added - B and C with their stops both below and above the surface.
